CER Workshop

Please note the following 2010 CER workshop date: Saturday, September 11, 2010.  Registration is now CLOSED.  Workshop dates for 2011 have yet to be scheduled but will be posted by December 1, 2010. Attendance at a workshop is valid for 18 months prior to testing. CER Workshop will be held at Lansing Community College, M-TEC Center; West Campus.  There is a link below that will take you to the college's website in order to get directions and information. This workshop will cover the following topics:  Appellate procedures, Courtroom procedures, Daily operating procedures, Medical terminology, Legal terminology, Punctuation, Homonyms.  Segments will be taught by certified electronic recorders.  As always, we will do our best to answer all of your questions and address your concerns.  Please note that we do not do hands-on transcription at this workshop. Cost of the workshop is $85 and includes a study manual, continental breakfast, mid-morning snack and boxed lunch.  Registration is from      8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.  Dress is casual/comfortable. Registration and mailing information will be provided once the 2011 dates are posted.
